Laiza Viana and Pedro Rodrigues are the founders of Lavi Cafe, a family-run coffee shop built on a shared dream, passion, and dedication to creating meaningful experiences through great coffee and exceptional service.

Originally from Brazil and now based in London, Laiza, an International Business Manager, and Pedro, a Business Administrator, have been building their life together. Their vision for Lavi Cafe was inspired by their love for quality coffee, warm hospitality, and the desire to create a welcoming space where people can connect and feel at home.

The name Lavi Cafe comes from Laiza’s name and surname, creating a brand that feels both elegant and personal. From the very beginning, every detail has been carefully considered, from selecting the perfect espresso machine to choosing each product that appears on the menu.

At Lavi Cafe, our mission is simple: to serve outstanding coffee, delicious food, and create genuine relationships with our customers. We want every guest to feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

Our menu combines quality and comfort, featuring specialty coffee, freshly made sandwiches, Brazilian carrot cake, pão de queijo, croissants, brownies, cookies, açaí, and natural juices. We are proud to serve local families, residents, teachers, parents, and students, becoming a place where the community can gather and enjoy moments together.

Like many small business owners, we faced challenges along the way, particularly finding the perfect location and the ideal espresso machine to deliver the quality we envisioned. However, giving up was never an option. Seeing Lavi Cafe become a reality is already one of our greatest achievements.

Looking ahead, we hope to see Lavi Cafe become one of London’s most recognised independent coffee shops, while staying true to the values that inspired us from day one: elegance, quality, and love.
